What's Next?

Assuming all goes to plan (as it's been confirmed that the 23rd is "the plan") what happens on the 24th and the rest of the year into 2009?

I believe we'll see a short warm up tour in 5 to 10 major N.A. cities ending with a New Years Eve show in either L.A., Vegas or N.Y. Then onto Europe and Asia in the late Winter/Spring and back in the States and South America for the late Spring through the Summer.

Anyway, first of all let's think about the release of Chinese Democracy then think in all the other stuff.

I know I'm being negative, and I wish I wasn't, but . . .  I do not get this.  So so happy that CD is close to coming out.  But no tour?  no single?  Strange to release the album by itself.  And its great to have it in Rock Band and the movie this weekend, but very little hype on this.  Something is missing here, and I hope we get to hear the full promotional plans soon.

Also, I hope we get a new line up confirmation soon, would be a shame if they had to find a new replacement for Fink.

This is like stepping off your spacecraft onto a new planet...exciting, but cause for anxiety because of unknowns...the only cure is to relax , and talk about your feelings with those who have been there/are there/will be there - read: HTGTH

Since we know nothing yet, the possibilities are endless! Stay positive - some people play the lottery their entire life, and never win - we've got 5 of 6 numbers and are just waiting for the last ball to fall into place!

I hope there's a big push for this album, and that singles get out on radio and music TV, supported by TV appearances (live performance or interviews) - Jonathan Ross in the UK would be cool! ;-)

but, I know that might not be their style....

we're all pretty good at waiting by now, so i've simply resigned to waiting some more...!  And, hell, it's the weekend, so I'm gonna sit down in front the telly and grab one of these...
