This is shit. Since they said "this is only two fans discussing" or "here's no official dates" , etc. this guys doesn't know something that we don't know.
this "only two fans discussing" is better than a bunch of fans on here bitching and whining about how the band owes us shit. yeah, they're not saying anything we don't know but it's still cool to hear people talk about the album.
After all this shit, I would say now, YEAH we are owed this album. If people didn't think it before, surely to God they do now. After all the hoopla over the last month or two. It HAS to come out.
i just meant that it was better time spent for me to have listened to these two dudes being excited for the album than it is for me to read multi-page threads where fans are just bitching each other out in whine-fests. yeah, we get excited about the album every year and yeah we get disappointed every year but when has bitching and moaning ever solved anything?
i feel that this is a huge reason why although i joined this board over 4 years ago, and only come to this site anymore as far as gnr related sites go, and although i'm always lurking, reading just about every new thread that pops up (albeit sometimes not thoroughly due to being inebriated) i have less than half the number of posts that people that joined earlier this year have simply because there's nothing much to say in most threads anymore unless i want to join a bitch-fest.
i'm an optimist. when something like this pops up, i'm going to feel good about other people showing interest and commenting on my favorite band. not complain that they're talking about shit we know already. not everyone's as hardcore as us to know everything that pops up, ya know?
