Guns n' Roses Chinese Democracy
Get it at: Best Buy. Want the CD? You have to go to Best Buy, where it will sell for $13.99. But the album will also be available digitally on iTunes and at bestbuy.com.

People at Best Buy are too lazy, here in Brazil an online store have put Cd for pre-order, and they have put the right setlist, with Catcher in the Rye without the N'. They also have a pic from the actual cd, what means they already have some copies with them.

link: http://www.livrariasaraiva.com.br/produto/produto.dll/detalhe?pro_id=2609950&ID=BD4927%204F7D80B030D28260129

We won't know which is the correct title of the song until the album comes out.

Its down as "Catcher in the Rye" on the .co.uk site

Nothing too noteworthy, but my local Best Buy indicated to me the standard Chinese Democracy order for mid-level Best Buy stores is 22 CDs and 22 Vinyls...  hihi

Where do you live...Antarctica? That seems like an exceptionally small order. When I used to work for a record store here in NY over 13 years ago, the standard for a new release from a major performer was around 75 or so (if I remember correctly).
Well I PLAN to get to Best Buy whenever the store opens, so hopefully there won't be a problem picking up a copy.  You got me thinking though, maybe I should pre-order just in case.  I can't imagaine there'll be a line of people outside the store before it opens though, I should be safe.

BestBuy is opening at Midnight for one hour on November 6 for the Gears of War release. They may be planning the same thing for GN'R, or perhaps because it's an exclusive they don't have to worry about that in the U.S. In Canada, perhaps we'll get it at one minute past Midnight???

That would be sweet, but since it's exclusive to Best Buy that would probably defeat the purpose.

It would make no sense for each Best Buy to get the same amount of vinyl as CDs.

It's only a BB exclusive in the U.S., so other countries might have a reason to do the Midnight thing. HMV usually does it, but only at the downtown location where they have their own door and don't rely on a mall for access. I could see it happening there, and if it does I'll be there.

Stores have no idea how many they will be getting yet and some might not know until they actually get them in. More than likely a couple hundred cds, and I'm personally hoping for 20 vinyls per store. Generally they send stores way too many cds for new releases, just to make sure no one sells out, then they send back the excess a couple of weeks after release.

i live in Connecticut as well and 22 copies doesn't make much sense at all. Hell, they'd run out of cds before all my friends picked up there's.

There's not even a Best Buy in Malibu.

I think it says Malibu because a Myspace event has to have a location.

I think so, other events he has under 'upcoming shows' list a fictitious location.

I think Sebastian is announcing that the album is coming and is excited about that, can't blame him.  ok
