Well, I hate to rain on your parade, cause I'd love to say the BestBuy.com site was brought down by all the traffic from the Gn'R fans, but I don't really believe that's the case.  There are numerous possible reasons you (and multiple) people could be having trouble accessing the site that may or may not be related to traffic.  It's possible one of their many servers have gone down because of traffic, but certainly at least some remain accessible, at least from here in Mpls, MN.  I've been checking BestBuy.com throughout the day and it's never been inaccessible for me.

I am just going to visit best buy on the 23rd and hope to walk away with many copies.  I am afraid to pre-order given that I think that will force me to receive the album several days later than I would like

Well, just pre-order one less copy than you intend to, that way, if you don't get them on the day of the release, you just go buy a copy that day.

Thats what I did, I pre ordered 1 copy for instore pick up just incase I can't get it on the 23rd.  But Im going earlier on the 23rd.  I originally was goign to pre order 3 but, instead this way I guarantee myself 1 and I'll buy more on the 23rd

Thanks for calming me down a little.  I just want to make my support of the band known.  I'm already set on getting two for myself...and I was gonna pre-order and pickup for my bro-in-law and another buddy, but we can just pick 'em up Sunday or Tuesday of the release.  

I will pre-order one today...this is sooo fucking crazy!  CHINESE DEMOCRACY!  After all these years!   love

PS, I know there will be plenty, but damn, wouldn't it be nice to hear some pre-order record smashed?  by GNR?  For some reason, I'd find that to be very cool.   yes
