I can beat that date.  I went in HMV a couple of hours ago and their computer was showing it on the system with a date of 2070!  I didn't know computers had a sense of humour!  Grin

Seriously, though, I marched up to the counter and just said, "Chinese Democracy", deliberately not saying GN'R, to see what the reaction was, and was pleasantly encouraged to see that the assistant immediately knew what I was talking about - as he should, of course, but you can't be too sure these days.

Anyway, after the glitch with the year was sorted, the system just said coming soon (no specific date mentioned), but it did have a price of ?13 listed.  Oh, and there was only one version listed too.

LOL, I've been doing the same thing...checking those exact links and changing the dates in them.

The above certainly demonstrates their "standard" format...but if they retool the site, or if they simply want to "hide" this bit of news until they link it on the page....they don't HAVE to stick with the standard format.  They could put it somewhere else other than in "news", or use a different .jsp within news for the content.

All that being said, you're right that the above ARE the most likely place for them to appear.

I've got to agree with you guys. The cover is uninspired. It's just a pic taken in hong kong because someone had written Guns N' Roses on the wall. Some of the fan made covers posted on this board were better looking and more original.
However, I do use the cover as my avatar on this board, on myspace, msn, and whatever to help promote the new album. I'm really excited that we'll get the album we've all waited so long for in just over one month.
And I know, you should never judge a book (or album) by it's cover but we all do.

I don't like that artwork if it is the real thing.

The tracklist is cool, but I don't like how he changed the titles.

14 tracks is good though, at least it isn't like 10 or something.

I believe 11/23 it's almost here, omg.
