I work for best buy, and got a phone call very, very early yesterday morning from a nice coworker who was there, exciting times are afoot....expect an announcement very soon. Our guys get back from the Media kickoff this weekend, and I don't think they will be able to  keep info under wraps.

Yes, there are some more details, but its all confidential to the company and I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to know, so for the sake of my job and his, I'm keeping what I heard quiet until an official announcement. All anyone needs to know is that now is the time to be excited.

Well it looks like 2008 is finally the year. November 25th seems pretty promising right now!

Interesting to note that Body of Lies comes out on 10th October 2008 in the US and 21st November 2008 in the UK. In terms of promotion the timing couldnt have been better! Interviews, TV appearances througout October in the US, then straight over to the UK the week of the 24th November to coincide with the release of the movie there. Its also interesting to note that NIN have cancelled their shows from the 7th to the 15th of October due to "unforseen technical issues," perhaps Robin has been reactivated and recalled to the Guns camp for the promotion in early October, it certainly fits the dates i have outlined above.

If the World Might also be the first single.

Exciting times, indeed!  Oh and I've just bagged second row tickets to see dear ol' Russell Brand at the Hammy Odeon (as it'll always be to me!); last time I was there 'twas to see Guns in 2006 - ahh memories! 

Anyway back to present times, I'm trying to contain my excitement in case of unforeseen snags but it's so difficult when the official announcement seems to be within touching distance.  Having waited so long, it's hard to believe that the time may almost be upon us...fingers and everything else will be permanently crossed over the weekend!

IF, "If The World" is the song in Body of Lies, that doesn't necessarily mean it'll be the first single.  I mean you would think it would be, but "Shackler's Revenge" hasn't been released as a single yet.  Though the song, I would think, would be on an official soundtrack so I guess it'd be more likely.
