Did I see Richard onstage with Rhianna?  I'm pretty sure he was the guitar player on the right side of the screen, when she was rotating around near the band.  Anyone else see it?

Rhianna has the TINA TURNER MAD MAX look....Anyone remember the days when the VMA;s were cool..A scratchy Axl wailinig WTJ in the white Paradise City jacket, NR duo w/ Elton John and the great Axl/Izzy/Tom Petty version of Free Falling..Now Linkin Park and the Johnas Bros are the only thing considered rock.Sad state of music.

The VMA's are terrible now anyway. And why does MTV host when they don't show any videos? Maybe there are some on other MTV stations but they should host an award show for all their shows.

They used to be cool back in the day and more respected. All those people were drinking their asses off, dressed like weekend warriors, with a few exceptions, it doesn't seem to be taken seriously. I wanted another Kid Rock Tommy Lee fight. Yeah, it is so different now.
