Why was thread for GNRsource topic locked in buy product?  I mean aren't we all fans of same band, do you feel threatened? IS there a real reason . cause I respect this forum and I live in USA, where we have freedom off speech? And Jarmo I met you hung out and think your a cool guy, but for the life of me I cant see how you feel like we are doing anything wrong. IF anything I think what stuff we reported and talk about on the forum, may be why idiots like the guy who posted 9 tunes are being looked at and why they want to find the original source, but here you guys don't want to talk about it.

I think that the actual position of a topic in that section is overrated.
People will look up a link if interested no matter if it is at #1 or #3 or #10.

We considered the move to an upgraded layout of the forum worth mentioning and therefore we did it.
We never wanted to act unfair towards the board, the staff or other posters in that section by adding the info.
Although I still don't think that it was enough of a reason to lock the topic, I accept and respect your decision and I appreciate your reply.

I hope that the topic will be unlocked someday so that we can inform people who are visiting your and our board of changes or additions we have made.

In the end we are all fans of the same band.

Well no, i don't have any  *crew* trying to do anything, people do what they do, but its cool, still respect you , like you as a person. And MJ up there summed it up. And I enjoy posting here, and on source. We are fans of the same band, and music, so its all good.

So its a crime to allow someone to say a side of a story, ? And it was a member who did that we just said ok we will post it. As it didn't break any of our rules. And it has nothing to do with what I was inquiring about anyway.

So yeah, Having an interview with a guy who leaked a HUGE GNR song and bragging about it and trying to be an E Celeb on your site........ I'm not saying that is why as I would never speak for anyone else on here but u probably aren't gonna win many points doing that.

When MSL told his first story like 1 year ago, nearly all GnR forums had posts about it.
We decided that we wanna know the story behind it, that's all we did.

Btw according to the definition

2. Encouragement of the progress, growth, or acceptance of something; furtherance.
3. Advertising; publicity.

we haven't promoted him, we just have let him tell his side of the story.

Each and every other side had the chance of reacting too, but ok.

Im just saying, maybe it looked like u guys were bumping to get more people to check the interview or something. I don't have a dog in the fight, I'm just a solutions oriented poster and trying to give my opinion on the matter.
