In all likelihood the fans were lied to so we would turn against the label instead of the band.

To me the in case part is just the words of the writer.. i think that if everything falls into place it will happen, i mean I know that they Want to put it out asap within the best circumstances.

I don't think I was lied as I don't remember the band telling us either way clearly. Likewise when the source is obscure I take it with a grain of salt.

Is RS even relevant anymore?  can a magazine that puts britney spears, clay aiken and the jonas brothers on the cover really be considered a "rock" magazine?

I think Rolling Stone is nowadays more of a pop culture-magazine than just a rock-magazine.

Rolling Stone has been predicting a November release for years, so I wouldn't put too much faith in them.  I would keep holding out hope that the band and management are on the same page in regards to releasing CD this year.
