This is a reply i had today from the jo whiley show. im kinda happy about it

Thanks for your email.  Thanks for your request for Guns n' Roses - Oh My God, we realise this is some kind of fan campaign and this same e-mail has been sent to the first few people who e-mailed about this song recently. So far we have recieved 36 e-mails requesting us to play 'oh my god', we realise the popularity of Guns n' Roses and would like to play this song, however we need close to 300 e-mails for a song thats not currently on the playlist to be considered for airtime, but given the amount of interest in Guns n' Roses over the last few months if you can get that amount of genuine e-mails into us by Monday 18th of August we will give the song one play, if it proves popular with listeners it could end up on the regular playlist. I hope this information has been helpful.

Definetely worth a go, not necessarily the best choice of song but if the others can't be considered (I presume the leaks have no chance of being played) it is worth a try.

I've also sent an email.

For sure we should try to contact all our local radio stations and try to get this song on air, especially leading up to the release of "Shacklers Revenge".

The only problem I can see is that if it gets some play now prior to Shackler's Revenge folk might get confused and think that OMG is the new song.  People are thick, remember.

Why go through the trouble of getting a 10 year song on the radio now? People did not like it back then, and they wont today! Lets wait until SR is released on the game. Hopefully it will be good and  Axl will wake up, and put it on the radio. New day, new song

I'd rather see Shacklers Revenge on the radio. At the least that way people can hear the fruits of the bands work. Oh My God is nine years old, and whilst - to me - it still sounds fucking brilliant - I wouldn't want people to think OMG is the 'new' Guns track.

I've got a funny feeling that we will not here it anymore. It's the most forgotten GNR song in the Netherlands and that's a shame.

Let's wait for the new album; we can hold our breath. I can feel it.... ok

(Despite of what other Gunners say or complain : I love the mods around here. I don't understand them always but they do what they stand for; "This is our site, this is the forum and these are the rules. If you don't like them then  JUST DON"T COME HERE or make your own site !"

Keep up the good work; people around here have a backbone and believe in what they are doing !

when (if its actually a single) shacklers comes out it will get airtime just because it will without anyone doing anything so i think its a good idea to get airtime of a gnr song that most people will have never even heard.

I think the last thing Guns n Roses need is OMG to be played on Radio 1.

Its ok but alot of people will think this is new and a Chinese Democracy tune.

Hold out for the new stuff which will hopefully rock not an old outtake, a new version of Omg would rock, sounded different when played played live.

Its hardly in the same league as WTTJ now is it, there was no video for this song, it was released as Part of a movie soundtrack, there was no single, there was no tour at the time, the song is nowhere near as good as WTTJ.

So No not much Groundswell for this

OMG is a horrible song.  Why would you want it on the radio?  This song would drive more people away from the band than it would draw to it.
