Um, can I just point out that this is a message board.   

Some posters come here to leave messages for certain people/friends who a following a line of conversation.

Not all things posted will make sense to all - I understand some posts are intended for certain people only.

This seems to be a point of confusion here....

a message board is a public forum.   if you want to send personal messages, there is a perfectly good private messaging system built into the forum software.

a lot of people just lurk these boards for information.   they dont want to sift through that bullshit.    what is posted in the GnR section IMO should make sense to someone coming to this site for the first time.

Yes, this site well caters for and welcomes the fans too!

All the threads have clear to follow headings etc. and the mods do a good job of deleting messages that are no longer necessary...
