There's a huge wasp nest in between the screen of my window and the glass. I don't know what to do. There are quite a few inside the nest. I'm sort of afraid to mess with it. They'll come after me. ha

Does anyone have any experience with this?

This is just a thought......you might want to call up the fire department and ask them what would be the best way........(they might even send a man over to remove it for you or refer you to a animal removal clinic)...... yes

Here's what you gotta do.  I've dealt with this before.  Fire does work, but spray will also work.  Wasp/hornet killer.  It's good stuff.  You have to wait till dusk though.  The later the better, actually.  Bees/wasps sleep just like people.  While they're all in their hive catching up on their Z's you spray the shit out of them and give them a rude awakening.  A few may get out alive, but they'll be stunned and soon to die.  Again though, make sure it's after dusk.  I tried this a little before dusk and one yellow jacket got me.  I'm slightly allergic.  It hurt like a bitch and my hand ballooned to double in size pretty much.  I had to go to the hospital and get some meds.  Nothing serious, but still.  I would suggest getting dressed from head to toe, don't leave any skin exposed.  Tight enough clothing too, don't want some finding their way into your clothes.  I've dealt with that before too, not fun.

That's my advice.  Good luck!

The bee and wasp killer kicks ass.  You can spray it from up to 15 feet away!  I've used it twice with no problems.
Good luck!   beer

seriously.  $4 for a can that will last you 10 years.  Spray it from the other side of your lawn!  The foam covers the entire hive and everything dies.  No smoke, no fire, no stinging.

We have paper wasps that like to make nests around the underside of our deck, and deck railing.

I use EXACTLY the stuff being talked about here: Raid Bee and Wasp killer.  Spray the crap out of the nest WITH the foam/spray, from about 10 feet away, and watch the buggers squirm and die.

Then, after an hour or so, walk over and detach the nest and toss it into the yard to get "mowed over" when next it's time to cut the grass.

So chalk my vote up to "Spray the fuck out of the little fuckers!".

Let's pray that she's alright and won the battle of the wasps.  They can be a formidable bunch.
