It's been a long time, I divorced my driver and let him keep the bike I paid for.  I'm stupid and nice.

We use to ride with Lemans America.  Been as far as New Jersey and a few miles into New York just so we could color in the state.  Cheating, I know.  Still hang with some of them once in a while.

I volunteer with Bikers for Babies for their annual ride.  It's my job to tell them where to line up their ass and their bike--lol  There's about 6,000 of them and believe it or not they do what I tell them!  Also stood guard over a private collection of antique bikes that was open to the public.  Boring job, bikers don't mess with other biker's bikes.  But I had a good time flirting and looking at the bikes.  Good group to volunteer with and they feed you well plus t-shirts.

What do you ride on?

I ride a Suzuki SV650.  Naked street bike.   Out of the factory looks like this:

Harley or Triumph?  Triumph.  There's no comparison, IMHO.  I'm not into the whole cruiser thing (though there ARE some nice looking ones around) and with Triumph we have the Street Triple (http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring/news_reports/triumph-street-triple.htm), Daytona 675 (http://www.triumph.co.uk/images/Daytona675_overview_main_2008.jpg) as well as their whole series of classics.    Fantastic selection of bikes.  But any bike is a good bike.

In the Toronto area there are not many good roads at all.  The best bet is to usually do a 600km-800km day north east of the city in the rural areas where we have some half decent roads without such a strong police presence.

Riding a bike is risky, drivers in Ontario just don't see us.  Every day I get on the bike I feel like I'm cheating death.
