personally, I think the only wayGnR will have a GnR themed game is if they stick to songs from Chinese Democracy; given the way the former members get along with Axl-there may be too many legal hurdles to overcome for them
a Guns N Roses game that doesnt include songs from "Appetite" and the "Illusions"? I can't wait to see how many copies that sells.
...Sure
WE
would buy it...but what about the casual music/GNR fan?
If they already have the instruments they might buy it. There's a lot of poeple out there (I'm not going to get into a debate over whether or not they have too much time on their hands) who have already mastered the games/tracks released and are just wanting to do new tracks. But yes, of course, Appetite or Lies or UYI 1 or 2 would sell more than Chinese Democracy at this point. But if that album ends up being huge (again, not going to debate that here), the game would sell more. Time will tell

Based on past experiences, negative whiners like to whine about shit even when they've been proven wrong.
Especially those who are fans of something that doesn't exist anymore.....
/jarmo
Rock Band 2, as of today, doesn't exist....
wow man, you know you can pre order it right??
And sorry but those records you are talking about are awesome and we all love them, but they are the PAST. This is the present and the future is where CD will conquer them all
Don't get me wrong here, I am sure that Rockband 2 is getting released (just based off the money that the first one made alone). But, if I may play devil's advocate for a minute here, I can remember being able to pre-order Chinese Democracy, and from legitimate websites too.

You can play whatever you want but the fact remains, those dates or releases were not confirmed on gunsnroses.com.
Shackler's Revenge appearing in Rock Band 2 was!
So all the negative "fans" choose to ignore certain things in order to make their theories right so they can keep going on and on about shit.
And once they've been proven wrong, they'll ignore it. They'll pretend they never were proven wrong and find something else to whine about.
"The tour won't sell" -> shows sell out
"Axl won't show up" -> Axl plays a great show
"The setlist sucked" -> They play songs that weren't performed before
"It's not the old band" - which is what they thought in the first fucking place but act like it's not their agenda.....

Guns N' Roses fans are silly. If something is announced, its coming out, whether that be a song or a movie or a scented hand lotion.
And it wasn't just confirmed by the
maker
, it was confirmed by the
developer
, and
publisher
.
It's like if Estee Lauder makes a new hand lotion and says it's coming out, then the people who package it and bottle it say that it's coming out, then the store that carries Estee Lauder stuff confirms that it's coming out as well. Why is there a reason NOT to trust them? I don't get your guys' logic....
And as fruity as my example was, so are your conspiracy theories.

come on, the earth can't be round because you see it flat.
But don't put it like all GNR fans are silly. there's even an astronaut that saw the earth being a sphere.

If there are countless examples of silliness, then Guns N' Roses fans are silly.
It's simple "If, Then" Causality. Quit being so PC.
I'll make you a deal, if the song isn't on the Rock Band 2 game, I'll apologize.
But maybe when you play the game and hear the song for the first time you can realize that it's ridiculous.

That is the silliest thing I've ever heard from a GNR fan.

Of course the earth is round. And most GNR fans know it.
Your calling GNR fans silly is the silliest thing I've heard from a GNR fan.
