I think there is an art thread but this is more specific. This would help me for some research I'm doing.

At the moment it would have to be 'Liberty leading the People' by Delacroix - funny coincidence that it happens to be the cover of 'Viva La Vida'!

Liberty Leading the People but who exactly is leading who? Is the the street urchin with a pistol, the bourgeoisie with a rifle or the proletarian with a sabre? Meanwhile, the city disappears in a cloud of smoke behind them.

That's a good question.

I don't think anyone is physically leading. They all seem to be lead by a collective conviction.

The smoke behind them could symbolize a new beginning - a chance to start over.

Guernica by Picasso is a great piece of art too.

Cool paintings by Blaine Fontana. The first one is really beautiful/awesome.

One of my favorite art photographers, Andre Kertesz:

Picasso's Old Guitarist..........I have a framed fancy poster of it in my hallway.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
