The vocal makes it sound like a mediocre cover band, like mine.

Yeah he was good with that one hit wonder. That song rocked in the mid nineties.

there's a dude who posts at metal sludge who has some inside info on this. he says Langdon's been with VR for several weeks already and that it's basically a done deal.

This man would single-handedly destroy ANY sliver of a chance VR had of ever becoming a multi-platinum selling artists again. He doesn't even sound like much of a rock singer in that "In The Meantime" video.

Yeah I hear ya. While I did like that song, it didn't really "rock" like VR. And he didn't sound too good on that video of "It's So Easy". I really haven't heard anymore of Spacehog's stuff though so I can't for sure say the guy can't rock.

Very Weiland - Esque to me, but maybe a better "singer" than weiland, but not as good of control of his register... Bigger range, less consistant maybe is what I mean. Seems like cool songs.. I could see Tommy Stinson into this shit, not Slash or VR. Oh well.

Seems to have a nice voice here too... He could cover the VR ballads for sure.
Perhaps too out there, artsy fartsy for VR.....

I like Royston. Spacehog was good, and he had a band with Blind Melon guitarist Rogers Stevens up till the Melon reunion which was excellent as well!
