edit : as for all the " its bucket " " its ron " arguments. how are we really supposed to know.
Cause its very noticeble for those who knows each others style? Because it's cristal clear for some who actually plays an instrument?

Do you have any doubt its Axl singing? I know the answer is obvious, but still, he has a remarkable tone. So has the guitarists.

we know bucket helped write the song. so it could very well be his guitar work. it coudl be rons
Its Ron on solo. 100%. I can hear Robin's rhythm too. Bucket has a whammy lick in the chorus, very subtle in the mix.

i didnt say i doubted it was axl singin lol your a bit too strong on the offense man. personally i thought it sounded more like ron than bucket...you dont know anything about me man lol ive been playing guitar for 4 or 5 years.and yes..I  happen to know diffrent players have different styles and tone. it was you that mentioned the fretless eh ? i can hear that too.

theres just so much argueing lol you jumped right at me and made your intelligence seem superior to mine.i havnt posted on here in a while but i thnk i remember you from my old account. wheres the love man  rofl beer

fuckin love this new song  peace

Surprise surprise, someone with slash in their name don't like it.......  Roll Eyes

That's funny because I love the other stuff I've heard. Everything is not that black and white. Get over your overblown ego.

Ive found that if you listen to the new material thinking of the classic Guns you will always be disappointed. You have to go into it expecting something entirely new.

Otherwise you might as well listen to VR....

not bashing you by the way

Why? That doesnt make sense. If that were true then hardly anyone would have got excited after hearing Madagascar, The Blues and Chinese Democracy at RIR 3. The same goes for every live show they have done since, all the new songs played were alongside "classic guns", so people must have been disapointed with the new songs?
Its a matter of choice and taste, I've been listening to GN'R for 21 years but VR never did a thing for me, even although I was excited and looking forward to hearing them. I just didnt think the songs were very good.
People are entitled to dislike new songs from this version of GN'R as well without being told to go suck on Appetite.
Even Axl acknowledged that people wont like all of the new  songs, but they would  find something they'd like.

The beginning is good, but talk about a repetitive song.   The guitar solo sounds like garbage imo(especially at the beginning), but the rhythym guitar is pretty heavy.

I was really hoping the song would go another direction after the solo.. but it was pretty underwhelming, and again, repetitive.

I give it a 6.5 out of 10.

Hearing Axl's voice again - especially in the layers of the final chorus - is amazing.  I can't stop smiling when the song is playing.

Can't believe there's GNR fans that don't like the song. Its really good, I've just been driving for the past hour and have been playing it repeatedly on my ipod. I then listened to Better, IRS, Oh My God, TWAT, Madagascar, Shackler's Revenge (again), The Blues, Chinese Democracy and Crash Diet all playing full blast through the speakers in the car and thought to myself... Guns N Roses are about to release a kick ass album. I can't wait to buy this album when its released. The sound quality of the songs I have aren't brilliant but it doesn't matter, these songs all go together brilliantly. Axl is back and Chinese Democracy is going to be a ground breaking album. I haven't heard such an amazing collection of songs in years. Please people don't try comparing this to AFD, its a different type of album we're gonna have. AFD was amazing and has stood the test of time but Chinese Democracy is something completely different and has some amazing stuff in it. Its gonna be HUGE, I'll probably buy 3 copies!!!!

Any help would be great!

Pilferk, I unlocked it in New York, at Empire Square Garden, in the "Challenging Songs" setlist. BTW, I was playing guitar on hard and my sister was playing drums on easy :p

Do any of you know if there will be a chance of having the finished track by a legal way at a short term?

I'm kinda desperate. Everything's so fuckin' complicated in the GNR world. But the music GNR does is worth the difficulties.

I've got a funny feelin? there's something wrong today
I've got a funny feelin? and it won't go away

I've got an itchy finger and there'll be hell to pay
I'm gonna pull the trigger and blow them all away

Don't ever try to tell me, how much you care for me
Don't ever try to tell me, how you were there for me

I don't believe there's a reason (I don't, I don?t believe it)
I don't believe there's a reason (I sure, I don?t believe it)

I've got a wicked demon here somehow never fades
I've got an empty feeling
I won't be home today

Don't ever try to tell me how much you care for me
Don't ever try to tell me how you were there for me

I don't believe there's a reason (I don't, I don?t believe it)
I don't believe there's a reason (I sure, I don?t believe it)
I don't believe there's a reason (I don't, I don?t believe it)
I don't believe there's a reason (I sure, I don?t believe it)

No one is stopping you from doing what you want to do
No one is stopping you now, stopping you now

I don't believe there's a reason (I don't, I don?t believe it)

People dont have to like what you like.  I guarantee many people will not like this song, that doesnt make them not true fans...all it does is make them a person who doesnt like the song.  I mean do you know how many people thought Oh My God was going to make GNR popular again in the mainstream or that the VMA's was the start of everything, or the Harley commercial meant Better was going to be the new single.  I dont care that it sounds different from AFD, I care that its trying to be industrial/heavy and angry and it just really is lacking.  You can not like a GNR song, i know plenty of GNR fans who have that one song that they always skip, My Michelle is one of my favorite songs from AFD and I have several friends who cant stand it or how about the fact that the best song off the UYI's (in my opinion), Dont Damn Me was never a single and never performed live.  Music is subjective, i was disappointed when I heard the song, mostly bevause I know its not a good enough song to make GNR popular or provide Axl the acceptance he needs to release the album.

I dont know why people dont get what Axl's doing.  Every 3-4 years hes released a new song or gone or tour etc...He is testing the markets for when will be a good time to release the album.  He is waiting for one of his songs to be a hit so he has the confidence to release the whole album.  If he releases CD and its a flop he looks like the biggest clown, so he'll wait for when the time is right.  So every few years he will test the market and see if it will bite.  It will take a semi hit for the album to come out mark my words.  Axls not an idiot its a smart and calculated business move.  The music industry is all about timing and rather than just guessing and blowing it all, he will drop a little bit of CD into the market and see how it is treated.

a bit cynical are we?^ But I disagree. For the shear fact that nothing what you say is fully accurate, and yes Dont damn me is one of my favorite tunes, but there isn't a wait and see approach, its when is done its done, I doubt Axl cares about markets.

my comment was for AxlLynch
