You're the one who tries to bring down the excitement.
It's so fucking boring to see a few select fans try to bring everybody down a few days before we have a NEW SONG officially out!
Damn right, I'll make sure you understand what the hell you're doing and hold you responsible.
Does it suck that somebody questions you? Does it suck that you have to answer for what you're trying to do and say?
I'm sorry Jarmo, but this is you.
I'm very exciting about what's happening, as are several others (maybe not everyone here). And, still able to have an opinion on it. On how things would be that much cooler, for the band and yes, for the fans as well. I wasn't whining, I was just sharing my thoughts and I'm sure most people don't get less excited because of something I said. That's because most people are very well able to form their own opinions, simply get excited about something they're passionate about.
You hold me responsible? Make me answer quetions? Seriously? Sorry, but that just makes me laugh a little. Good god Jarmo, how did it get so bad? You run a fan message board man, a decent one/the best one probably, but still: it's only a fan message board. Chill out already.
Bests,

Disco anthem ? is it a song you can dance to ?
oh yeah ! in fact you can't escape, your body moves all alone.
that's an amazing vicious dancing song with exciting guitar parts.
Guns N'Roses are back for real !

Yeah, and when you post something that I think is bullshit, I'll question you about it.
Does it bother you? Does it bother you that the whole "nothing to be grateful about" philosophy isn't something that gets you high fives here?
At least I made you laugh (a little). Hopefully it made your day a little better in the middle of all this stuff that's nothing to be grateful for...
Often in life, things can be better. That's true.
But the fact is, you or I don't always know why they are what they are. So maybe it seems like they could be better, but in reality they are as good as they can be?
Why can't you just enjoy things like they are?
A new song in a video game. Great news!
Why does there always have to be a "but...." added?

Who's Shackler?
I just finished reading a massive epic story in which one of the heroes after being shackled by bad guys for 14 yrs breaks through to revenge his best friend. The good guys surely pay lots but in the end they win and save the world no matter what.
Go shacklers!

Pfff... You'll keep on getting yourself frustrated, losing context over and over.
Again, I'm very excited about everything that's happening. Is it so hard to understand that someone can't be that grateful about a song ya can only hear (properly) when buying an Xbox + the game? Grateful is a big word to me.
If indeed it turns out that GN'R will release a single via download/on cd - which as said previously is what I am hoping for, then I'll be grateful. And until then I'll just be anxious and waiting like anybody else in the same situation. That isn't too bad, is it? Can't be that much of a bummer to you/anybody else.
Enjoy,

As I said, it's proof that things are happening. Maybe that's not something you're grateful about. I am. I remember the quiet times.
I don't have an Xbox either.
But I'm happy to see a bunch of fans excited. Fans who are looking forward to playing the game and playing along to the song.
And obviously very happy about GN'R having a new song in a major video game.

I like this song a lot. Some people say the production sounds 96ish--but whatever...I'm really digging the song. And I agree, it's a "grower."
I respectfully disagree. It was only a "grower" for me right until the first chorus hit. SOLD! I seriously can't believe a new GnR song is out in less than 48 hours...I hope it hits radio in some shape or form as soon as possible. These are good times.

this song kicks ASS!!!!
it rocks and it's catchy. it's one of the best gnr songs ever. and i hold plenty of GnR songs in VERY high regard.
much like many songs on AFD, this song combines a number of influences to create something unique and original.
Congrats to GnR on creating a gem!

They definitely made the absolute 100 percent right choice with Shackler's being the song to re-introduce people to GNR

Please don't judge the song just yet. The mix that's out there right now is very inferior. Wait till you hear the final mix.
