It's awfully quiet here.. Calm before the storm, huh? Any news, except the obvious?

We do need a single, whether it's this song or some other. It's cool that they have it in RB2, but most people who are eventually going to buy the album are waiting to hear a new song on the radio.

Yes, but remember. The industry of music-distribution is changing.

RB are one of the many new "hosts" a company can use to market their products, but we surely will hear Axl on radio soon peace

I think if they were to shoot a video !! I think it should be a setting were the band is going through hell and back and now their getting REVENGE !!! on all the haters that said this album would never come out.

Don't you read at least the page you're posting to?

The Special Edition bundle for Xbox 360 was.
regular Rock band 2 and individual instruments for Xbox 360 haven't been pushed back.

First review of Shacklers Revenge

The final piece of ?unreportable? news is how the new Guns N? Roses track, ?Shackler?s Revenge,? plays. We can say that the song has an interesting style that?s quite unlike the previous GnR tunes, with a very industrial, Nine Inch Nails-type of vibe, though Axl does air out his trademark half-singing/half-shrieking pipes, so it should be a challenging track for vocalists.

I suspect that it will be the first single from Chinese Democracy, hopefully released to radio before Rock Band 2 hits stores.

What I'd like to see is for GN'R to perform the song at the VMA's, then release the song to radio the next day.

If negotiations with Walmart/Best Buy are promising I think there's more chance this will be the single, yes. And I think VMAs is a strong option for them to promote it, unless they get on Letterman or play the song live somewhere else around the time of the game's release..
