I apologize, I could have been more considerate and thoughtful, you're right. It wasn't about anyone in the thread and it came off
as a broad slam, that wasn't my intent. I will be sure to exercise more discretion in the future, especially amongst the wizards.

I know a lot of people are expecting some insane straight-up rocker of a song, but I think it is going to be something a little strange (for GNR) that may have get more play in more markets than a wicked metal song would.

UYI contained a lot of songs written pre-AFD... if 3 hit singles (Don't Cry, November Rain, You Could Be Mine)--and other great songs- were laying around, why weren't they on AFD? I think the reason is that they tried to create a very focused debut album... with stuff that would fit in wih--yet blow away--stuff on the radio at the time.

If, as we've been led to believe, they have a lot of material to choose from, then I think they would again try to pick something that will fit in yet stand out from the stuff on the radio. I think that means odd rhythm changes and some beeps and bloops from a synthesizer     .....in a good way....

I know someone who has sample this song. A friend of mine told me the song starts out with a crazy bass drum and axl going YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. And it sounds like all hell is breakin looes! lol,Told me it was very raw and the clip like 30secs long. And could be the demo not whats going to be on the game/album. He can't wait to hear it and so can't I.

Regardless, I hope that the whole (or most) of the album is available on Rock Band 2 once it comes out. I can't speak for the new song, but I'd love to play "Chinese Democracy" and "There Was A Time" on that game since I can't play the real guitar for shit.
