No one is saying that, but it would be nice to have the new songs played by the writers. May be in an ideal world which usually is not where GnR resides.

Maybe Buckethead not comeback to Guns N' Roses but maybe he comeback for a show...lets say...uhmmm...VMA?
would be weird to promote the band with a dude like buckcethead if he's not a part of the band
Nothing is weird or strange in GN'R 's world. Maybe today's negotiations are down tommorow...GN'R 's world is confuse, crazy and volatile
We'll have to wait...

Agreed. I don't get why people think Ron can't handle BH duties.
Silly Buckethead groupies.

Certainly not and I think at this point we should take it as it comes and leave the theories and speculation behind.
As in waiting the 2 months to see what happens.
Instead we have lunatics stalking Harmonix employees (possibly) and people throwing more wild speculation everywhere. It's just no good for anyone.
Things have the potential to get really good for us GNR fans right now, why possibly ruin it with nonsense, ya know?
PS-Bob Dylan wrote a lot of fantastic songs that other people sound great playing, get my drift?

Ron could handle any of Buckethead's solos with ease. It's not even an issue IMHO.
I think some are just a little bent out of shape b/c he's not the original writer of the solos (not Ron's fault)... and b/c they think he doesn't have all the schtick or "charisma" of Buckethead or Slash on stage.

?Rock Band 2? (MTV Games)
Games that let players ?strum? along to the music using guitar-shaped controllers were already popular when ?Rock Band? hit the market last year, but ?Rock Band? expanded the concept by adding drums and a microphone, and letting gamers play cooperatively in groups. ?Rock Band 2? (scheduled to be released in September) plans to further the franchise by featuring a battle of the bands mode, letting groups compete against each other.
But a music game is nothing without its soundtrack, and ?Rock Band 2? shouldn?t disappoint. It will feature more than 80 songs on the disc, plus more available via download, from artists as diverse as Pearl Jam, Alanis Morissette and even Bob Dylan.
Best of all, the game will debut the Guns N? Roses single ?Shackler's Revenge,? the first new music from the band in over a decade.

I think Bhead and Bfoot have different tones.
I'd love to hear both versions. like one day with BH and the other day with ron. Yep, in an ideal world
wait, hasn't Ron said he's on every song? If so BH parts and Ron parts should coexist on shacklers, no?
And if all the gunners that made/play on cd could cpme together for a show to introduce new songs, their babies, I'd call it a utopia.

So you may want Paul Tobias back for some songs?
The point is that Shackler's Revenge may was written by Bucket, but we don't know nothing about the final version. I only know that if Bumblefoot is there, its because it worked and it sounds great too.

Yea let's drag everyone who may have had a hand in this album (s) at one time or another onto the stage. There will be no room to move but it will make for an interesting show!
I have NO clue who the lineup will be when and if they play this tune. What I DO know is the 6 shows I saw in 2006 and the one I saw in 2002. No matter who winds up playing, they will be capable and it will sound great, I am sure.

It IS shackler of DBZ sound track. I posted the anime clip twice in this thread.
shakler's Revenge also stora sounds like an anime title.
When I first googled for 'shackler + revenge', I was a bit confused as a lot of bondage/porno stuff came out.
hoped the lost film was not that kind
.
Now I come to think that the shackler might be the shackler of the chicken coop BH was brought up in. And BH wrote the plot.

shackler is a song BH composed for DBZ
it has nothing to do with the score of "shacklers revenge" that appears in BH's FAQ page.. that was b-movie that was never realased and BH did the score.. he told the story and the plot to axl, he liked the idea and they started to write the song we will hear in RB2

Are you sure about it?
They are 2 different songs. Still it seems to me that they can be somewhat related to each other.
