Might have been partly because it was a crap film. It was on TV a couple weeks ago, wasn't very good.

but one thing I understand about it is the awful mixing. It didn't help the song at all.

with rockband2 (no crap game)and shackler(slow and steady) and with fans like us , the same won't be the case.

Either way this is a track that was composed by Brain and Bucket. Add Axl into the mix.

I've browsed through all these forums for the last 9 years, and I never heard anyone mentioning this song!

It's funny, but it seems that when the CD finally arrives we'll all have a great surprise! I mean, does anyone also think that none of these leaked tracks will be on CD, and we'll be smashed with 13 never-heard-of songs? I hope so!

How many "bonus tracks" was it that Axl mentioned "oh so long ago"?

Don't know if this has been  asked but how many people on this board will buy the damn game just to have the song? And is it possible to put one song out on a video game and release the disc later?

What is Jarmo going to do to the site to celebrate the release of this long awaited new disc?

I'm going to buy the game to play the song, but hopefully we can download (and pay for it) via iTunes, etc. before the game comes out.

Do you mean in the game? They could conceivably have "Shackler's Revenge" included in Rock Band 2 when the game comes out, then allow you to download the rest of the album into the game at a later date.

I do too. I think it'd be really cool if we could get like "Shackler's Revenge" and like one or two B-Sides or something not on the album for like four bucks.
Definitely put a Bucketheaded version of "Oh My God" in there or something. I love that track.

Dont know how its done thease days, but back in the days, the singels
use to have some kind of artwork with them.. Picture with a picture from
the movie soundtrack or something..

I've been wondering about this subject too. Are they going to continue with the Chinese-theme overall, or are they going to do own designs that have nothing to do with the Chinese stuff for each single etc..

Just FYI:

The 500 song number is all the RB2 content PLUS the RB1 downloadable content...because it's all "forward" compatible.

I love RB so this is awesome news.  and while I'm smart enough to realize a name of a song means nothing, i can't help but think how DUMB the name of this song sounds

very excited about the other songs they put on the list for RB2. Man in the Box is going to be awesome to sing.
