it hasnt changed yet. i dont think it will since gibson dont want their GH guitars played on rock band on the ps3, from what ive read. it sure sucks since i prefer the gh guitar over rock band

$170? In Europe, Rock Band cost about 220 euros (about $350), which is exactly why I didn't get the game. I know you can get a stand alone version of the game, which is probably what I'll do for Rock Band 2. It sucks you can't use Guitar Hero's device with the game though (at least on PS3 - unless it changed).

im guessing early September since the soundtrack for the game will probably get leaked first then the game

i think we will here it before the game hits shelves, officially or through other avenues. I know that its unfortunate that these things happen in muisc, but the internet and curiousity mean that the song will probably be with us in August sometime.

Now that it's "officially official", I wouldn't be shocked if we got something from the band....

Expect the game to be out for PS3, Wii, and MAYBE PS2 (though I think they're gonna skip that platform with this one) by Christmas time...probably late November.

I have RB for PS3...I may have to "reinvest" in the Xbox360 version because of this.......

Watching the live-stream right now. They just announced it from the stage, Shackler's Revenge, it was the first song the presenter picked out... With the GN'R-logo....

I HAVE a 360 (and a Wii to boot), but have Rock Band for PS3.....along with the Guitar Hero games.  I was planning on just buying RB2 and using my RB instruments with it...save myself some coin, ya know?

But now.....well, now it's up for debate.   I may end up with TWO sets of RB hardware......

Theres always question marks regarding Guns N Roses and the album. I am more excited than I have been in a loooooong time but at the same time i'm telling myself the album has not been given an official release date. The band has not said shackler's revenge will be their first single. But damn its so hard to quell my excitement. Its fucking fantastic news.
