OZZY OSBOURNE With CAMP FREDDY; Video Footage Available - Aug. 4, 2008

Ozzy Osbourne made a surprise appearance with CAMP FREDDY ? the Los Angeles-based "jam" group featuring Dave Navarro (ex-JANE'S ADDICTION, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS), Billy Morrison (ex-THE CULT bassist, current CIRCUS DIABLO vocalist), Matt Sorum (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES), Donovan Leitch (son of legendary folk singer Donovan), and Chris Chaney (JANE'S ADDICTION, ALANIS MORRISETTE) ? during Friday night's (August 1) ESPN/X-Games party at the House Of Blues in West Hollywood, California. Osbourne performed three songs with the band ? "Crazy Train", "Iron Man" and "Paranoid".

Fan-filmed video footage of the "Crazy Train" performance can be viewed below (courtesy of "samanthaslopes").

That performance was terrible.  Not because of the guitarists, they did fine.  Because of Ozzy, he was all over the map.

were you there?  to say the sound on a fucking camcorder or whatever is fucked is riduclous..........i bet the adrenaline in that place was off te fucking hook and everyone there would have a "issue" with your critique ok

i've ben to shows that were fucking awesome only to watch someone's taping of them on youtube only to have them sound like shit; can't really give a fair evaluation based on youtube footage

Ozzy's enthusiasm is infectious.

And I suddenly remembered the poster named Dizzy - he was the biggest Ozzy fan on the board  Smiley

Dave and Todd Newman have a 17 minute long CF Residency highlight vid available at www.6767.com - it will take a bit of time to load but well worth the wait.

Also, Matt and Billy Morrison will be back live tonight on CF Radio - 6-8PM PST.

Listen live here: http://www.indie1031.fm/4045_Listen_Live.php?id=27
