Couldn't find an official VR page though.
Band's on hiatus. What would they tweet about?

"Still no lead singer."
"Yes, Matt is still a douche."

That's amazing! And now he's got already 1,300,402 fans and counting on Facebook. That's almost 1,000,000 more than one of his previous bands.

And Chinese Democracy outsold Libertad like, ten-to-one. What's your point in GNR-bashing? This is about Slash's album... which should be very interesting, at the very least.

good try, how did it do compared to Contraband? OUCH hihi

Just came across this, the first sample of the new track you can hear playing in the background of the interview. There's some cool Slash soloing and riffing going on! ok

Nice to hear, the solo in that song sounds more like the Slash I think alot of us wanted to hear from VR than we ever really got outside of a few songs. Hopefully there is plenty more of that to come on the album.

SLASH Talks About Collaboration With Japanese Singer KOSHI INABA; Video Available - Nov. 1, 2009

VELVET REVOLVER/ex-GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Slash will release a two-track CD single in Japan on November 11 containing the song "Sahara" (featuring singer Koshi Inaba of the Japanese hard rock duo B'Z) and a version of the GN'R classic "Paradise City" (featuring CYPRESS HILL and Fergie [a.k.a. Stacy Ann Ferguson] of the BLACK EYED PEAS).

"Sahara" is expected to appear on Slash's forthcoming solo album, which will be released under the "Slash & Friends" banner. According to the guitarist, "the [record] is in its mixing stage and the mixes to this point sound great. We have recorded 18 songs, with one more I want to track." He added, "the record is still slated for a February/March release."

Video footage of Slash talking about his collaboration with Koshi Inaba during a Japanese TV interview can be viewed below. (Note: The "Sahara" track can apparently be heard in the background.)

Why shouldn't it?  Slash said it sounded killer!  Slash has said every song on the album is killer I think.  And every song he's ever been a part as far as I can remember.

It's tough to tell.  The song sounds okay to me, I wouldn't say killer seeing as it's pretty much background music to the interview.  Sounds like some good stuff from Slash.  Can't really hear the vocals all that well so that's tough to make a judgement on.

I agree. You can hear the solo very clearly starting at the 52 second mark in the video and it sounds awesome.

Im having too good of  day so we will leave it at "what we've heard, it has potential to be kick ass"

Jim Bob is already giving the album 2 out of 10 and he hasn't even heard it

Slash could have the 2nd coming of Stairway on there and it will suck to Jim Bob.
