Considering Slash has even publicly stated Buckethead is technically a superior guitarist to him, are you sure?
Technically superior does not mean better
Has Buckethead written some of the greatest Riffs of all time? Or played on some of the most popular rock songs of all time?
Buckethead can shread his ass off all night but that doesn't sell albums or make great rock songs.

Probably a selection of singers, like he did with Slash and Friends. Of course it'll depend on everyone else's schedule. It'd be tough to get 14 peoples schedules to match up and have no conflicts. I would guess Franky Perez would be one of the primary singers.

I thought Slash would perfom some a few shows and that's it, then he would go back to Velvet Revolver...but it seems that VR will have to wait more...

They were a band before Scott joined though and will continue to be once the solo album and loaded are finished up.

So by your logic, the Jonas Bros. are better guitar players because technical efficiency does not seperate them from someone like Buckethead
I don't really care how many riffs or songs Buckethead has written. He's still leaps and bounds the better player than Slash, and the fact that Slash even admits it pretty much makes your opinion not even worth the energy you took to type it

Dave Mustaine admitted that BH was also better than him in the same interview.
But Dave also has more hits and cool riffs!
Name one riff on CD that is better than SCOM, Jungle or ISE? .....
Yes BH is technically better but thats just cos he can shred, which no one really cares about..

Good for Dave Mustaine. While Buckethead was expanding the tapestry of his craft and getting to know every aspect of his instrument, Dave was writing "cool" riffs. Do I care? No.
Who is constantly branching into new directions and taking his craft in new and better areas? Buckethead.
That's the truest definition of an artist: one who doesn't stay in the same rut playing the same 3 chords like your heros seem to aspire to do.

Um, maybe not you since it's beyond your capabilities. But true musicians certainly care about speed and technical prowess. If they didn't you wouldn't have Dave and Slash giving Buckethead props

If i wanna hear someone shred, ill listen to Satriani or Vai. if i want to hear great guitar incoorporated into a great song, i will listen to Slash or jimmy page
Do you really think watching someone shred is better than a great song with a cool riff?

Except Buckethead's output has been anything but stellar. He shows a lot of promise on some records, but in most of them it's just weird noise for the sake of weird noise, or shredding for the sake of shredding. The only time where he actually did something that was coherant as more than some avant-garde crap was when he had Axl Rose as a musical director to guide him.
You see there is a difference between a great songwriter, and a great guitarist. I'd rather have a great songwriter any day, because the sound of a great guitarist without the songwriting prowess to back it up is incredibly one-dimensional and boring. There are only a few people who have managed to be highly skilled in both areas - one of them is Bumblefoot. And on the subject of Bumblefoot, I direct you to the lyrics to a song called I Can't Play The Blues*...
Slash may have had quite a few missteps over the years, but his work on Contraband shows that he still does have it as a songwriter when he puts his mind to it, even if he's not the most technically proficient guitarist.
*
I Can't Play the blues
I play as fast as I can - I'm the Gingerbread Man
With a fast hand - won't ya kick me outta your band
I only play for me - I'm the king of Unity
I'm a team of one - a defective hired gun
I play like a ham, well that makes me Spam
And then I wonder why nobody ever wants to jam
Cause ya feel like a pawn in a volume war
And I'm the only one who bothers keeping score
Because I got no feel - I got no emotion
My riffs aren't real - I just go through the motions
I'm fulla tricks and trinkets that I always use
I aint got much choice - I can't play the blues
And just in case I'm in a finger race
I keep it up and I keep pretending that I win the chase
But if ya play faster than the speed of light (according to Einstein)
Ya go back in time - and end up in the 80's
With our big hair
Jackets with fringes
Stretch pants
Mascara
Choreographed kicking
You got a big laugh outta 70's disco
But you became the same by a different name
Ya forgot to change your calendar 10 years in a row
Now ya can't find the pace of the new game
I play it like a ham, yeah with lots of spice
I'm the Son Of Spam in a block of ice
Yeah, I can't lay back - I get all confused
And if I slow it down you'll see the riffs I already used
CHORUS
Yeah I actually believe that if I wail up and down a scale
Then the world is gonna get up on their feet and yell...
"Hail Ronald! Hail Ronald!
Take your big head and go to Hail, Ronald!"
Yeah, I can't lay back - I get all confused
And if I slow it down you'll see the riffs I already used
I play like a ham, well that makes me Spam
And then I wonder why nobody ever wants to jam
CHORUS
