Bach is an amazing singer.
I wonder why this album won't come out until next year;;;
As far as the record goes, we're almost done with vocals, 2 more songs left & a couple odds & ends. Then, I can stand back & see what we've got. It is a fucking awesome ensemble, that much I do know, with brilliant performances from each & every singer. I do hope to have a release date soon, but I can assure you, as I said before, it won't be this year. It will, most definitely, be out be very early in the new year. Even though the recording process is almost done, the legal logistics involved with so many different artists takes a minute to iron out.

@slashhudson all these updates abt vocals, are you singing now ? If u aren't who is ?

i cant wait for a track listing and to find out who the artists are for each track. I really hope baz or steven tyler are on it. VR should just do the same thing and pick a touring frontman.. kinda like the inverse of NIN and what trent does

From a May 20th interview with Steven Adler...
Adler:
It's just been so wonderful to have my best friend Slash back in my life, and me being a part of his life and he being a part of mine. He says he has one song, 'cause he's working on a solo record, and he has the one song that he says is specifically for me. All I ask is that one opportunity to get in there because I wanna be his drummer! I mean that's how we started out. You know, we're both more levelheaded and still alive and better players than we were, we're in a better place than we ever were. I Wanna Be His Main Drummer!! My main goal, I got my best friend back, now I just wanna finish what we started. I mean, it's a shame I missed out on all the other records and all the people he's played with. Because of my drug addiction, I missed out on so many things, I'm grateful to be alive and to have the opportunity to be able to get back together with him.

Why wouldn't Slash take Adler over Matt?
No one seems to really like Matt very much and Adler is a better drummer IMO.
If Steven is clean, I am sure Slash would consider it.
maybe not for VR since Matt owns part of that band

We were disappointed to hear that SLASH's solo album won't be out till after the first of the year, so we asked him why that was. There are two more tracks to go, and they're almost done with vocals with a couple of odds and ends. He said he hopes to have a release date soon, but it will definitely be early next year. The recording process is almost done, but the legal logistics with so many artists takes time to iron out. Also, he doesn't want to have his album come out at the same time as any of the artists guesting on the album. Interestingly, SLASH is going to post what gear was used on what songs although most are just one guitar and two amps - this will be posted on Myspace. The record is being recorded analog, so it will be released on vinyl as well as CD. Izzy Stradlin is making a rhythm guitar appearance on the album, and Steven Adler will appear on drums.

You gotta admire this guys work ethic!!! He just cant stop working on some project or another or touring. Its great to see someone that loves what they do and still find time to constantly keep the fans updated and come off as a laid back guy! Its a shame he gets such a hard time on here.

He really doesn't get that big of a hard time on here, just a handful of posters really.
