Use Your Illusion I (1991)

« on: May 23, 2008, 03:19:05 PM »

I am talking about this: studio cds (no greatest hits, live crap) that are must owns. Albums you should have no matter who you are. It could be the band's biggest cd, their best selling, most popular by critics ect.

List some you can think of. Here are mine...

Must own these if  you're a rock fan at all
Def Leppard "Hysteria"
Guns N' Roses "Appetite For Destruction"
Motley Crue "Girls, Girls, Girls"
Bon Jovi "Slipper When Wet"
Ac/Dc "Back in Black"

Those are some of the bigger ones I could think of right now.. you guys list some.

All GNRs real albums.
All NINs albums.
Never Mind The Bollocks... Heres The Sex Pistols.
The Eraser - Thom Yorke.
First Issue / Metal Box - Public Image Ltd.
Psychos Path - John Lydon
12 Bar Blues - Scott Weiland
Outside (and pretty much anything else) - David Bowie
Origin of Symmetry - Muse
Evasion - Citizen Tank.
Anything by Katarrhaktes.
Anything by Ambient End.

As for 'rock' albums, the majority of them are pretty poor at best. As are most 'rock' bands. Very stale.

Sex Pistols - Never Mind The Bollocks

I'd agree, except somehow I've never owned it. Taped it off friends when it first came out and never bought a copy, and probably
never will now that it's all available on the greatest hits album.
