umm I missing something? why are people having a problem with what Matt said?  He was saying pretty much the same thing that Slash said, although Slash's way was not as direct as this one...he was saying that Axl Rose was worth the trouble and Scott Weiland wasnt...and hes RIGHT...hes also pointing out that what STP accomplished was a tiny fraction of what GNR did.... who on this board would actually disagree with that?

I'm not saying that STP is better than gnr ... Mustaine for President said STP wasn't as accomplished as GnR .... i was just pointing that they have done things that gnr hasnt done yet

anyway dont get me wrong, i dont care at all about awards, i havent watched an awards show since 91 .... but to the general public and to the media they mean something..thats all i was saying
