thee

The re-release is solely the action of Polydor UK.
This goes on all the time. It doesn't mean anything.

If this is true it would probably be the lamest thing that the band could ever do. It would be embarrassing.

Are you stupid?
It's not the band.
It seems like you don't give a fuck. You just like to point out how lame the band is.

Jarmo I thought we didn't attack people on this board? I'm sorry I guess I thought the band was the one who wanted to do this. Either way, I think it is lame to re-release something that was just released four years ago. I'm not against releasing a greatest hits but at least do a number 2 greatest hits. Sorry for being so stupid.

Correct.
But we also don't use every possible opportunity to attack the band.

Well, I posted this at mygnrforum.com but I suppose I'll post it here too:
Maybe it's something like this (which I bought and now own):
http://eil.com/shop/moreinfo.asp?catalogid=431437
I know that these were originally for the USA (but never came out yet to my knowledge), but maybe now they only plan on releasing it in the UK? Same tracklist but different packaging (2 in fact), plus an offer to download all their other albums for only $6.99 each. And an included podcast. I'd say either an attempt to just make more money off of the GH release (highly likely) or a clever promotional tool leading up to a digital release of Chinese Democracy. Only time will tell.

Never seen this before, thanks. The digital download tie in makes sense....more money for the company.
My money's on exactly the same cd and packaging though!!!

But, this ain't a Geffen release, it says Hip-O.
They've spelt 'Guns N' Roses' - 'Guns 'N Roses'; 'Appetite For Destruction' - Apetite For Destruction'; 'GN'R Lies' - 'GNR'S Lies'
