definately not the band...in fact axl and slash and duff all tried to stop gefffen from releasing it cuz none of them agreed to it...one of the reasons why i never purchased it.

Jarmo I thought we didn't attack people on this board?  I'm sorry I guess I thought the band was the one who wanted to do this.  Either way, I think it is lame to re-release something that was just released four years ago.  I'm not against releasing a greatest hits but at least do a number 2 greatest hits.  Sorry for being so stupid.

I'd say either an attempt to just make more money off of the GH release (highly likely) or a clever promotional tool leading up to a digital release of Chinese Democracy. Only time will tell.
