bet u paid bout 1500 for that right?

I got  my Delllaptop today. I didnt order anything super fancy. just an intel core 2 duo so it would be fast. I dont use it for games or anything, just straight internet and school work so i didnt need a lot of the extra stuff and it cost 800 bucks. So it was a great deal. 1 gig of Ram, 120 gig harddrive. 2.0ghz  and I got the best fastest wireless card they sold and I am getting amazing wifi connections.

actually it was more like 1900 if I recall correctly.  ok

To be quite frank, your avatar is blocked using Adblock Plus in my FF browser. It gives me a headache. Grin
Seriously, check it out. Pages load faster since all ads are blocked automatically. IE can eat shit.

Firefox and Opera aren't part of the the Windows Kernel so yes they are superior in everyway. when it comes to browsing nothing renders better than Opera.

I need a laptop for university this fall.

Something reliable and efficient for school work, but also fast for games on the side Wink

Any suggestions? Smiley

I would check out local computing magazines, instead of asking here.

Go for whatever is in the middle. At the high end you pay for the name, and at the low end you pay for cheap labour and parts.

I didnt even use the Laptop for Pro Tools

I just surfed the net with it. Just regular websites, nothing risky either. I started it up today and it was fucked.

Piece of shit.
