^ Yeah both right.. there's a video of them three playing I think it was Paradise City on Youtube.

They also played 'TJ' from Izzy's Miami album besides some GN'R tunes

July 2007 Key Club show in West Hollywood

Me, my girl, and a couple friends flew out there to see a few of the gunners perform.

Completely awesome. Best gunner experience I've had in years!   Cheesy

it was a fun show, well worth the money I spent on travel

.....one small letdown, I had firsthand info from someone in Stevens band that everyone except Axl would be there,
now Slash's being there was exactly that.........a quick walk through the VIP room and back out the door  no

so far, Yes

the 3/5th thing has happened in different combinations a bunch of times since 'The Project' started

Adlers Appetite once had a show where Slash & Izzy joined Steven
Camp Freddy had some shows with Izzy, Slash & Duff
VR had shows with Izzy joining Slash & Duff
and of course Adler's Appetite at Key Club w/ Steven, Izzy & Duff

I really thought I was gonna see the whole band onstage for the first time since the early 90's

but Slash said he wasn't feeling it........I kind of understand, the whole thing did seem kind of shady at first.... Steven had called them all out on the whole deal, with his statement on the internet....kind of hyping the show for his own purposes ( I mean, a real announced reunion even w/ out Axl could be on a much larger scale than the 'Key Club' on the strip and would not be called 'Adler's Appetite')....I never really believed Steven, but when an acqantance of mine who plays in Stevens band confirmed it I was buying plane tickets....

SLASH - if your out there you should have gone onstage.....it was like 'Old School Hollywood' the place was packed The Sunset Strip in general was alive, Tamie from Faster Pussycat was holding court on the corner telling his favorite Guns N Roses/ Faster Pussycat stories from back in the day....it reminded me of the Hollywood that I and many other's used to cherish as their home ( and that means alot to alot of people, and you probably know that already)

^^ What are you talking about?  You weren't going to see the whole band, there.  Axl had no part of it, and was never going to, whether Slash was there or not.

I mean't 'The Band' ( the guys who play the instruments), did you not read this part of my post
"I mean, a real announced reunion even w/ out Axl could be on a much larger scale than the 'Key Club' on the strip and would not be called 'Adler's Appetite')...."........and like I said Slash was there, he just did not go on stage

Slash was trying to be diplomatic out of respect for VR's singer at the time of this show (which by the way was never intended on anyone's part to be a "reunion", merely a 20th birthday celebration for AFD.  Too many people read too much into things, take things out of context, or just plain misquote and/or falsely report things).  For the most part all these ex-gunners have a good relationship with one another.  Axl is the wild card, but so be it.  If everyone would just leave it alone (a reunion) maybe they would have a better chance of finding a way to make it work out amongst themselves.
