Fri. May 2 - Sun. May 4

Hey all, I'll be hangin' out at Chiller Theatre at the Hilton Hotel in Parsippany NJ, first weekend in May '08.  Will be doing a little jamming that Saturday night.

Gonna have a table set up with some merch - anything ya pay over the price for each item will all be donated to Multiple Sclerosis research.

Come say hello and show your support - thanks.

The best thing about that part of the world is the bridge to Denmark.  Tongue

It really is a nice place! Never understood why people have given my home state such a bad name. Besides the whole Jersey City area with pollution and such, western Jersey is the place to be. ok

I would go to it if I  wasn't  going to a bachelor party. I think 5 strippers and beer outweigh Bbf jam. Btw, JERSEY ROCKS!!!!!!:)

Moorestown is way south jersey, that part of the state could be moved to the deep south in the US and would fit right in; where bbf is going to be is OK

Hey all, Richie Scarlet is headlining the Stone Pony in Asbury Park NJ Friday night April 25th.  Gonna jam a song or two with him.

From official site www.richiescarlet.com

Quite a renowned figure in the music business. Although a highly respected player, Scarlet, who has performed and played with many of Rock's greats, Ace Frehley of KISS, The Original Alice Cooper Group, Frontman Sabastian Bach, Leslie West and Mountain to name a few....... has for many years remained more of an urban myth (as he prefers).

Richie has also released 5 critically acclaimed CD's with some of the top players in the industry such as Leslie West (Mountain), Ty Tabor (Kings X), Ace Frehley (KISS), Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge), Kenny Aaronson, Sandy Gennaro, and Anton Fig of the CBS Orchestra.

SCARLET FEVER
Veteran rock sideman Richie Scarlet steps out

By Mark Voger ? Staff Writer ? April 24, 2008

Tonight's gig at The Stone Pony will hardly be Richie Scarlet's first at the venerable
Asbury Park nightclub.

But it will be a first for Scarlet.

"I've played the Pony probably eight times, but never under my own name,'' the
singer/guitarist explains.

"I've played there with Ace Frehley two or three times; with Mountain probably three times; I think I played there with Sebastian Bach once. This time, I'll be playing under my own name, playing my own songs, playing with my own band.''

Because ? his solo career aside ? Scarlet has carved a niche as a sideman to the stars. His tenure in Mountain alongside guitarist Leslie West and drummer Corky Laing is on the back burner until the fall.

Scarlet intimates that there may be ""a couple of rock legends on hand'' to jam at his Pony show. One confirmed guest is Guns N' Roses guitarist Bumblefoot.

Jersey City Rules....oh wait, that was the 80's.  I have a wife and kids now, so I'm down near the Jersey Shore a few miles from Bruce and Bon Jovi.

Parsippany is a anytown USA type of place, a congested suburb just like most of north and central New Jersey. If you can and want to make the trip to see BBF and give to a great cause, please don't hold back because of the location.
