How great would it be for Axl to show up N' steal the limelight at some POISON shows by playing a song or two w/ Baz...
this is making my head hurt...a Poison show?!? are you kidding me? have you guys been following the same Guns N Roses that I have over the years? GNR showing up at a Poison show is about as likely as Megadeth playing with Britney Spears....seriously GNR and Poison could not be bigger opposites...just because they got big around the same time does not mean they have ANYTHING in common... what they have in common? 1) Slash tried out for Poison 2) many fans 3) the sunset strip & L.A. (The Rainbow, Whiskey, Roxy etc....) 4) Hair Metal 5) Motley Crue as a major influence thats just scratching the surface |

I didn't mean this thread as a jab at POISON..They continue to be a great touring band..Excellent catologue to chose from...Bret Michaels is a greta lead man..Really knows how to work a crowd..He also sounds great live..
As for stealing the limelight..I meant as a big name Axl showing up unannounced would be tough to top..

This thread is like a scab that I keep on picking. Not good for me but I keep doing it anywhere. Its like a worm eating away at the inside of an apple. Its like Osama Bin Laden remains free 6 years later after 9/11. I keep coming back and reading this thread. It sort of feels like a night mare. Maybe I will wake up. Poison you have got to be fucking kidding me. That would be like Barrack Obama making a guest appearance at a Ralph Nader rally. It would be like Sony hanging out with Vizio.

Don't start freaking out. I think it's just kids not knowing what Poison was in the 80's. That or... people with very very bad taste suddenly had an insane desire to post here  Poison is everything that is wrong with the world and more. |
