Welcome aboard man.
You are absolutely right, this is a MENTAL GNR show.
Great recording.
This is the famous December 7, 1988, Tokyo show.
This show has been circulating for a long time, probably since before 1990.
There is a CD with this show called 3rd Gig, it was made in the early 90's, you can buy it on eBay (not very easy to find, but it shows up there eventually). Just get it man, you won't regret and you will have this show forever with you on CD.
Welcome aboard man.

Look here for more info on this and other shows: http://gnrontour.com/setlistalm88.htm

There are a lot of bootlegs with that show, but the one you're specifically mentioning is the ''audience recording'' one.

Try these ones, 10/10 soundboard:

Self Destruct Era [Aces High]
Nakano Sunplaza - Tokyo, Japan
Silver CD's > EAC > APE
590 Mb / Incomplete Concert - Soundboard Recording

Self Destruct Era (Complete & New Remastered Edition (2006) [Aces High]
Nakano Sunplaza - Tokyo, Japan
CDR (originally released by CDR) > EAC > WAV > FLAC Frontend [Level 8]
678 Mb

Self Destruction Blues [Langley]
Nakano Sunplaza - Tokyo, Japan
Unknown [Probably CDR? > EAC > WAV > FLAC Frontend (Level 8)]
669 Mb / Complete Concert - Soundboard Recording patched with audience version of ''Paradise City''

My 3rd gig Cd sounds perfect (and soundboard) to me
I have the 2CD edition, full concert.
I love it.
I don't think the sound on these other records are any better!

I just heard some parts of it, what we have here is a better recorded show than the ritz 88....musically talking  . Thank you so much.
