He has left GNR twice now.

How many more times does he get to leave?

He left Axl high and dry in 99 and now again in 08.

I just see a pattern forming and I for one don't really like it.

not any more as nin is saying goodbye to the fans while gnr is saying hello again to the world.

What if NIN were not saying goodbye though?

Thats all I am saying

Is he gonna come back cause he wants to or because he has no other options or choices.

if NIN were not saying goodbye to the fans he wouldn't have done the gamble.

or he'd have toured with nin in 2004.

in 2004 he and trent had a rift, remember when Trent replaced him and said that guy pissed on robin's shoes and kicked them out the door?

maybe they buried the hatchet and Robin Came back. Certainly he didn't know last May they would be saying goodbye after this part of the tour.

That still doesn't explain why he didn't have the balls to call Axl and tell him he was leaving.

trent has implied the break since 2006 so I assume he told that to Robin beforehand.

yeah heaven knows why Robin wouldn't say goodbye. maybe he too never says goodbye.

I would love for Robin to be back for the next GNR tour.  I am gutted that he's completely changed his look again though  Sad

More likely than not- Robin will be rocking a completely different look than his current NIN look if (when?) he returns to GN'R. Never know what he'll come up with next. I've always found that cool about him.smoking

how bout this for an idea?

we all chip in "x" amount of dollars to their promotional plan in exchange for a fans interview with Robin?

Paying for an interview? Is that what it's come to now in the GN'R world? I don't like the idea at all.

I just don't like the idea of coercing someone to do an interview. Why not just do an interview? I think it's ridiculous to pay someone or pay some organization to get a person to speak. Either the guy wants to talk or not. We don't have to lure him in with different kinds of reasons to participate in an interview.

ok so you meant nins one by their promotional plan and not josh's.

to my knowledges charity is mostly gratuitous service not for returns.

I don't think you were serious about the idea yourself but your doing a interview for charity doesn't mean you gotta answer any query.

So what?  We knew that they were doing the Jane's tour and that it would last into June with Bonnaroo following.  Big deal.
