I honestly thought Robin was still in the band up until they removed him from the myspace and now from the album notes at itunes.

While I would love Robin to come back--if he doesn't, I hope they go with John 5 as a replacement.

John 5 is great guitarist, but he is a more of BH and BBF type of guitar player ... it is like saying it would be cool for Lars to come drumming for Guns and You have Brain or Frank already.

Its out of respect for Robin, he's all over the record. He's not in the band. Everyone pictured played on Chinese Democracy (except Tobias) they're all not still in the band. You people have a tough time breaking up with people huh? Get over it, he's gone.

I hope you're not including me in the "you people" group, as I only care about what is best for the band, and if Robin and Axl decide that the future for them both is better without him in Guns N' Roses, I'm completely ok with that fact. Bumblefoot is my favourite guitar player anyway.

If Finck is gone, he won't go on the road with them next tour. He is on CD and very likely their next album or 2 afterwards if the story is true that a shitload of material has already been recorded. So it does suck if Robin is out, but things change, people move on for whatever reason and that does not diminish his contribution to GNR. Of course this is all speculation......

seriously.  lets just chillax until the band actually has some tour dates booked and hit the road again.    The album is coming out in a week, and nothing can take anyones contributions away from that, ever.
