154 pages ... does he even know? ...

Robin's busy rehearsing and touring with NIN and probaly doesn't have time to read a thread of 154 pages.  Im sure he would probaly laugh at some of us who think he's left.  There's nothing going on in the GnR world as touring goes, hell he doesn't even have time to update his website let alone write a statement on his status in GnR.  The man is busy making a living give him some respect.
Yes. I always thought this NIN thing is just like a kind of side project like when Dizzy tours with his band...etc and people are reading too much into it. I bet Robin will be back when things in GNR are ready for the release and all that stuff.

you again? maybe you don't deserve to be in a GNR forum since you keep blaming your lack of comprehension  on others

seriously all brain said is that he gotta get paid. Obviously it was a joke but at the same time I think it was sorta true. respect should be paid to these guys. they deserve it.

I don't like Brain so much. That's all. I don't like what he said...Did you read something about Robin or Richard or Tommy or any other member making jokes like that? Sorry if my opinion bothers you man  Undecided

And yes, me again.  Wink

I guess you don't like what you think he said.
According to richard brain gotta sick sense of humour. I happen to like it. Sorta like axl calls himself a king dick.

I donno but seemingly some are even offended by franks or ron's jokes...I really hope people chill out a bit.

You're right on both counts.

And yes, this thread was about Robin. Who by the way, I think is much better fitted for GNR and I hope he's not out.

Frank did an outstanding job in 2006/2007 and I'm glad to have him in the GN'R family, but Brain is "the" GN'R drummer in my opinion.
His power, his style, his charisma, everything just fits like a glove and really molds well.

Thanks to Brain there's a deeper musical texture there. To the old songs especially. It sounds new and powerful.

In today's Toronto Star, they review last nights NIN show.  In the review, they refer to Robin as ex-Guns N' Roses guitarist.

Not sure if this is based on factual knowledge or due to the fact that Robin is playing with NIN and there's little going on with GNR (other than Shackler's Revenge).

Cheers,

Andrew

When they mentioned NINs lineup on Billboard a few months back, they referred to Robin as being "back from a stint in Guns N' Roses". I don't think it means much.

He's just earning a few bucks and enjoying playing guitar, if I were him I'd be doing the same. I wouldn't be flushing GnR down the toilet for it. He'll be back when he needs to be

Nice to see Trent is still taking shots at Axl...what does this say about Robin, anything?

From this month's Rolling Stone interview with NIN:

As an experiment, Reznor gave away a pair of tickets for the tour's dress rehearsal by hiding an envelope under a rock in Burbank. Using a Google Earth link on his Website, Reznor indicated the tickets' location with a question mark. Fans quickly found the envelope. "Well, we couldn't leave that alone," Reznor says. "We hid another 30, in places from Watts Towers to behind a mirror in a strip-club restroom to a Home Depot." One envelope was hidden in a graveyard; the location was announced after it had closed for the day: "We wanted to see if anyone would break in, because I would've. And someone did." Reznor contemplated providing the location of Axl Rose's house and encouraging people to dig in his yard for tickets, "just to see how many people got arrested on his front lawn."

I don't get how that's a "shot at Axl" seems more like a dumb remark involving Axl's name.
