Robin leaving? Just touring?

I don't see GnR touring until maybe late 08 early 09 so I don't see a problem with Robin touring with NIN.  I'll say it again just because they release CD doesn't mean they half to tour right away.

Jarmo's right the whole band doesn't need to be there for interviews, ect.  I remember watching MTV back in 2002 and they had Dizzy and Tommy talking about the riot that happend in Vancouver.  There's proof right there if you need or go find it on youtube if you don't believe me.

you are taking my quote out of context. i was only responding to the thesis, that the whole band doesn't have to be present for promo. that's true in some aspects. but there are definitely situations (like shooting videos) where you can't easily do without the lead guitar player, for he is the most important figure right after the lead singer.

They seem fine whereas before, and this was no fault of Robin's, there were tuning issues that needed to be addressed.

Oh and no Axl didn't meet w/Slash and wasn't even in NY. It's amazing that can't people tell from the context of this guy's tripe that he's just some attention whore.  Fucking internet.

Yeah I understand but in fairness to us, most of this board don't doubt that the album is ready. and aren't so silly as to be taken in by flat out bs. well save a few.

Why was anyone worried about 'the album' anyways?

Kinda hard to re-record music thats all ready in the hands of the record company, no? 

Whoever is on stage when a tour starts again will suffice, IMHO and this is not a knock to the current incarnation of the band, their contributions to new material or their fans - but - Axl is the guy who puts people in the seats, he is the voice, the heart and soul and vision of Guns N Roses. Any other piece of the equation you can add or subtract and you'll get the same number. Subtract Axl and the formula fails.

As long as Axl feels like moving forward with himself and G'N'R it doesn't really matter who he decides to bring onstage with him.
