I envy you for not knowing what NKOTB stands for.  Unfortunately I had to live through that era and somehow bought into it and had my sister buy me their debut tape despite her objections.  I should've listened to her.  I destroyed the tape a couple years later when I came to my senses.

for the video it's "easy" to reunite the band for some days of shooting.

Jarmo's right the whole band doesn't need to be there for interviews, ect.  I remember watching MTV back in 2002 and they had Dizzy and Tommy talking about the riot that happend in Vancouver.  There's proof right there if you need or go find it on youtube if you don't believe me.

true. thus, not having the lead guitar player for your video(s) and tours is not so good. imagine the release of appetite in 1987 and no slash in any videos or live-shows. that would have been strange.

true that the band hasn't broken up.
But like jon said, I guess he means that altho at the moment working separately at the moment GNR will get together again to tour behind the album later this year.

It's funny to see people argue that, after a band loses its fourth or fifth guitarists, they won't be able to go on.  Good stuff. 

I just hope they release the damn thing by xmas.  I can't see new management allowing the album's release to go longer than that.
