Robin leaving? Just touring?

The official update is good news. Robin's doing his thing and no one really knows why or how, but there has not been any falling out between Robin and GNR.

Now it is with a great picture of Robin in action.  Call me crazy but he looks like he's having a great time rocking out.  I hope he remembers that.

Never said you did that I just made a general blanket statement that comes out of your own play book. As you see I did not say "Jarmo wrote this."
But you did lie to me earlier when you told me you do not do this site for GNR and that this idea comes from my own head. When I see the type of update you gave prior to it being on the official web site  it lets me know this site is monitored by GNR and has some impact on how it is run. That is my point. I feel you lied to me when you made that statement. Regardless we got an update which unfortunatley is short of a true status on Robin cuz if they don't know what he's up to no one else but him will need to clarify. Its a shame.

This is one of the best updates I have seen in a long time,record is turned in and things are moving along very well(gameplans).
But Robin only knows what he s doing...and thats dont sounds good IMO.

The "robin's robin" part sounds exactly like what Axl said about Bucket in the Eddie Trunk interview("buckets bucket"). Doesn't mean he has left, but its something i noticed. Maybe Axl wrote the statement who knows.

To be honest, I got the impression that Axl or his assistant Beta wrote this update.  It reads very much like Axl's open letter to the fans.  Since management is referred to in third person, I figure they did not have a hand in writing it.

Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but I don't think we're getting the whole picture here. Robin just disappeared without telling anyone? Surely he would have let somebody, band mates or management, know what his plans are, especially so close to the album release.

Why would Robin not tell anyone in the GN'R camp what he's doing?
