Any idea why my post would be deleted after copying and pasting what was on Robin's website (the tour dates with NIN and the sentence about being "thrilled" to be playing with NIN)?  As far as we all know, Robin could very well still be in GN'R and just being contracted to do the NIN tour.  I will be fortunate enough to see Robin (with NIN) 4 times on the next tour so I am damn excited!  Any insight as to why my post would be deleted would be appreciated!

I take it as a bad sign as well. Those questions have nothing to do with Robin's status in GNR and yet Richard chose to avoid answering them.
That question about X-Japan wasn't a big deal since it referred to past shows. The question about the two guitarists' chemistry could have been answered as well, if  Richard had chosen to ignore the part about future shows. 
I read that interview and this Pat guy knows there are some questions he shouldn't ask, there was nothing wrong about what he asked, apart from the DR Pepper question.

One thing's pretty clear - the situation isn't anything as simple as 'Robin's just going to tour with NIN for a while, with Axl's blessing, and will return to GNR afterwards'.

If it was, surely we would have had this clarified by now.

Yeah, I have come to see things in a different way now. I used to be like 'Robin didn't leave' but some comments as well as Richard's attitude made me think about the situation and I'm not into that 'Robin is only gonna tour with NIN' stuff anymore.

Richard Fortus - Frank and I don't get to hang out that much anymore since he lives in NJ and I live in LA most of the time now. Robin lives right up the street from me and we hang out pretty often. I also hang out with Tommy and Dizzy quite a bit. Axl lives out in Malibu, so i don't see him that often.

When he comes back we can be happy.  If he doesn't, at least we can accept now and move on.

Jarmo, good point.  I often forget that people outside the forum think differently than people in the forum.  I get it.  You and I never thought the reality TV show was real.  But non fans did.  Okay.  You are right there.

Well, you are right.  I used some poor words.  This reminds me of my business when people are like, "we are going to puchase such and such".  I get excited, then let down.  Now I just am like "whatever, I will beleive it when I see a contract or money has changed hands".  I think something big is going down, just don't know when or what.  Its toooo quiet right now.  I feel like a bomb shell is about to come.
