They're Australian companies (I think), both are fairly drinkable and reasonably priced. Yellowtail is better in my opinion, but they are similar quality.

if you like red wine, try an amarone if you haven't already. i've liked every brand i ever had. great stuff.

awesome...Masi makes a very nice, reasonably priced one!

I have been through them all and most are very good..anything from Pelee Island is what I am referring to...may be wine from Ontario Canada but it is really coming into its' own.

AGREED! you have very good taste. i have a few bottles of Masi at home. mostly the cheaper version, but i did buy a more expensive one for xmas which i am saving for a special occasion.

i had some amarone tonight with dinner. Bertani. awesome stuff, but expensive (wasn't on my tab  ok).

as for Nighttrain..........i don't know the way you all say it is i'm scared to try it but i spose some day when i have $10 to piss away i'll get a small bottle of it. Just to see for myself how "vile" and disgusting it really is.

A good valued Champagne that the Missus likes is Chateau St Michelle (they have a lot of good wines actually) blanc de blanc (white from white-Chardonnay.) It runs about 12 bucks a pop. I can't have Veuve in the fridge all the time.  hihi
