Everyone around here probably has seen me doubt CD very very much , and i pretty much put down or question any and every thing that is GN'R CD related , I was even questioning the Dr.P thing. But with a new management team , a promo , it sounds like CD is coming out in 2008!  beer

No and no.

Whatever man.  That statement on the website is an endorsement and/or appreciation of what Dr. Pepper did.  It could benefit the band, and already has to some extent, in a promotional capacity.  The band and its management are obviously intelligent individuals.  They have to be cognizant, even if they don't acknowledge it publicly, of the potential benefit to Guns N' Roses.  

Just like they are cognizant of the benefit of being aligned with a famous and reputable manager like Irving Azoff.  That is why you do something like that and announce it in an enthusiastic way.  You feel and believe it will be beneficial to you and your organization.

And, I'm sure it will.  Irving Azoff is a fucking legend.  This is great for GN'R!  It certainly can't be bad to have a heavy hitter like this on board.
