dr pepper is a spin off of Pepsi anyways , he needs to learn his company's
Actually, it's neither coke nor pepsi.
It's Cadbury/Schwepps.
They've used both Coca-Cola and PepsiCo as their bottlers/distributors in the past, depending on region. But neither owned the product. In recent year (ie: over the past decade or so) C/S has taken to bottling and distributing their products themselves, as the contracts with the other two companies expired, cutting out the "middle man", so to speak.

^As a teen, we used to use it to cut our bourbon. Not bad really.
Don't cut bourbon man, that's not right
Funny comment from Bach !
Depends on the quality of the bourbon!

I personally can't even describe the taste of Dr. Pepper, it is pretty unique in comparison to other sodas with exception of Mr. Pibb, kinda similar. All in all and in no way am I being rude, but there will be one extra can for somebody as I personally can not stand it.

It has nothing to do with the taste of pepper!

It's hard to explain.
The closest I can come to explaining is that it tastes sort of like a cross between Cherry Coke and Sasparilla.
I actually like it, a lot.

Dr. Pepper goes well with whiskey. DP and SoCo 100 is a great drink, but dangerous

The abbreviation of Southern Comfort to 'SoCo' makes me want to throw up. Maybe I'm just not 'cool', hehe.

It's just what everyone calls it in the US, no different than using Coke instead of Coca-Cola. But from now on I'll call it Southern Comfort on HTGTH so I don't make you throw up greendog

I've travelled all over the world and I've heard people abbreviate Southern Comfort to SoCo most places. Its nothing new. Janis Joplin called it SoCo too.
Abbreviating Dr Pepper to DP on the other hand...you might want to check the clientele of the bar you're in before you ask for that.

I think there's even a commercial where they call it SoCo.
Doesn't matter, though. Tastes like ass with a hint of citrus.

dr pepper inside story
About a month ago, two executives at Cadbury Schweppes were playing "Guitar Hero III" at work and began pondering how cool it would be if Axl Rose finally got off his ass and released Guns N' Roses' long-awaited, 14-years-in-the-making album "Chinese Democracy."...........
