Unless something has changed very recently, I know that the band are not planning to tour until the release has been finalized.
which is pretty soon
I hope so

Mysteron, I love your updates. You are the only one that tells us anything. I hope you give us some big news soon. Tomorrow, this week, next week, this month, soon.

I mean it's probably nothing, but ever since the 2006 tour ended, when I did check it used to say no dates scheduled nationally. Bach hinted he'd be touring with a big band in the summer. Richard and Dizzy are doing some shows during the end of the Month, and I think Dizzy has some in April, not sure on that, so its conceivable maybe they might do a few shows in the late spring. I really hope they do, I can't believe the Hammerstein shows were almost 2 years ago.
Sebastian Bach is supposed to be touring with Poison later this year. That was his "big huge band" he was talking about.....LAME!!

I think I probably means that when it happens it happens, no tentative dates!!

the fact that there is no movement, is a bit disappointing to me to be honest.
The whole album and band are "us against the world" attitude, whcih is great, but the fact the album plans aren't even moving slightly is, well, disappointing. I thought Axl woudl be fighting tooth and nail to get this thing out and restore his reputation as the one true rock star left...
Sure there must be a lot of legal Bs to get through, but thats for the lawyers and the more he rides the lawyers, then then the closer he can expect to drop the album......
As usual, this is all midnless speculation, but "no movement" is a worry to me.

How could you get the idea that Axl is not "fighting tooth and nail to get this thing out" from what Mysteron said?

patience is a virtue and im all bout wating hence will get the album when we get it; but i have to stay this stagnent wait is getting rather redundant. How complicated could it actualy be? I'm sure there is all kinds of behind the scenes drama but really this aproach to getting us the music is starting to get stale.

I get the feeling that the next "big news" will be an official band / label statement, whenever the time comes. It *is* good to know that you're still stopping by, Mysteron, and I always appreciate whatever insight you have to offer, no matter how vague circumstances may allow it to be...

Man this is getting real fucking frustrating. Since it's now over a year since the "tentative" release date, some word just has to be coming soon ... doesn't it?

Mysteron, thanks for your continued updates.
We are ultimately clueless though as to what is really going on.
We can just hope that the next significant update is when things will really get rolling. Whether that could be today, tomorrow, in a week, in a month, a year..

lol, seats at a gig.
For what its worth (which is really not very much) I will see them if they come to Scotland without an album, because I'e not seen them live before. However, for others who saw them for example on the last UK tour...well, the ticket's weren't exactly a tenner, were they? I imagine a number of people want the new record before spending so much to see them again.

My feeling is a bit the same as other's here... I also believe there is no moving. I do not believe in the 'new GN'R' anymore, the hype is over.
Ok, great artists tough, but no result (read: studio work).
Even, what if CD is comming out this year, or next year or within 25 years....who is still waiting for this? (except for some hundreds diehards around the globe).
And about the touring: be honest, offcourse I like seeing them, but after 4 times...I really seen them now. It's time for something new, or just stop the whole madness. I think GN'R camp should give us something: if there is nothing in the plans, then let us now because then we now it is all over, if there are new plans: well, why not letting us now? Why is that so difficult? Other artists do not have a problem giving their fans REGULAR updates about new plans!
Why did I choose Guns to be favourite band!
Goddamn, so frustrating!
