Did a search but couldn't find a thread.
This looks badass and the trailer just went up.

If ever there was a picture to warn people about the effects of steroid abuse, I think you've found it.

No, it's a re-start, new actors (Edward Norton as The Hulk) new script and basicly new everything

Meh. No way in hell I'll pay $8 to see it in a theater. I'd rather just see The Dark Knight another time.

Is this one gonna be a bit more serious and kick ass, rather than a kiddie comedy fest retardedness the last one was?

Sorta, kinda, yes.
More like a high octane, action oriented version of the TV series than the Ang Lee psyho-emotional clusterfuck that was the last movie.
I mean really...who wanted to see that crap between Nolte and Banna? Some of the most painfully sappy, painfully acted moments in film.

I just watched the trailer and it looks pretty cheesy. "Our only hope," etc.

They're calling it a re-boot or a re-quel.
I bet its awesome.
Marvel seems to be pushing Iron Man as their blockbuster though. I wonder if they're hoping Hulk is a sleeper or if their expectations are just lower for it. It doesn't have to be a huge hit though - this is a set up for The Avengers movie starring all of the actors from all of the newest Marvel movies coming out. Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Ant Man (thats going to be a weird movie haha) and captain america. wonder if spidey will make a guest appearance.
I like DC characters a lot, but a justice league movie without christain bale as batman is just going to be DUUMMBB. And how bad was the latest superman. terrible.
pretty interesting marketing campaign by Marvel so far - Iron Man gets a superbowl ad and a big spot during LOST (I think thats when it was on?)
and then the Hulk gets his trailer exclusively on MTV. They are really trying to get the buzz/hype out.
3 super hero movies, plus Indy 4... should be a fun summer.
does anyone think speed racer is going to be good? looks like a bad acid trip to me.

And your point is? They can market it as a kickass action hero movie without such cheesy ass tag lines in the trailers.

Road To Perdition wasn't cheesy. A History of Violence wasn't cheesy. Sin City wasn't cheesy. Batman Begins for the most part wasn't cheesy. And Hulk could easily be an awesome flick without the need for lame ass tag lines such as "our last hope" in the trailers. LOL. Hopefully the movie does NOT contain that kind of dialogue.

Actually, anyone familiar with the comic books knows Ang Lee's movie lived up to that exaxtly.
The original comics are even more far out there.
I'd love more action and less of this personal drama tho, looks cool.

I'm sure I read an interview with Ed Norton where he said he only accepted the role as the movie would not rely heavily on CGI. I disagree after watching the trailer. He's too good an actor for this rubbish.
