Theres a lot of cool stuff you should check out then. As a kid the original members leaving sucked but everyone, including Axl with the new band, has put together some amazing stuff.

I owned a bunch of stuff that ended up at the used cd store....
Izzy's first record and 117 degrees were the only two I thought were worth a shit. Izzy has some good tracks sprinkled throughout all his albums I am sure.

I get what you mean...but then The Ju Ju Hounds, Neurotic Outsiders, loaded, and Snakepit aren't really solo albums either. I think he meant post Guns work in general.

Really tough to put the Izzy albums in a specific order... at the end of the day, all of them have some great tracks and some filler songs. So I'll just have to put it like this:
1. Izzy's solo material
2. Neurotic Outsiders
3. Libertad

I dont consider VR in with the solo stuff, i did include NO as most of those songs were solo efforts that they brought in to the band.

Almost all of the material on N.O album was Steve Jones... but there was a couple of Duff tunes. And I think Johnny Taylor did some stuff but most of it ... the majority... was Steve Jones.
Fucking love that album.

1. Gilby - Pawnshop
2. Duff - Believe In Me
3. Snakepit - IFOS
4. Gilby - Hangover
5. VR - Contaband
6. Kill For Thrills - Commercial Suicide
I listened to Pawnshop Guitars almost as much as I listened to UYI
i am less familiar with the later Duff, Slash, Izzy releases (96-present) and didn't hear all of Libertad yet (besides what they played on tour). I also have a feeling that I would love Buckethead and Bumblefoot albums if i got my hands on them.
So this list is subject to change.

1. Gilby Clarke- Pawnshop Guitars
2. Gilby Clarke- The Hangover
3. Buckethead- Colma
4. Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum- Neurotic Outsiders
5. Izzy Stradlin'- Izzy Stadlin' & the Ju Ju Hounds
I absolutely love those Gilby Clarke albums. I still think to this day that a great mid/late 90's GN'R album (with the UYI tour line-up) could have easily been put together based off the best material (and letting Axl and Slash add their personal touch) from those two albums and taking on a few Axl ballads (e.g. The Blues and Catcher In the Rye) . Too bad.
