Wow, they don't employ thugs.

It really seems to me that they do. You have Pacman, Tank Johnson, and T.O.

You also had Michael Irvin back in the nineties. Oh yeah, didn't they employee Deion Sanders at one time also? I'm sure I'm missing a few others but I think five examples makes it clear enough.

Drew, I hate to drop this bomb on you...Deion Sanders is/was not a thug.  Did he dance and have fun on the field and wear colorful clothes off the field?  Yes.  He was also a guy who didn't drink, smoke, or curse...which says something for a star of his magnitude.

I'll give you Tank, Pacman, and Irvin.  Those guys are/were thugs.  TO's a hybrid...I don't know how the hell we can classify TO.   hihi

Romo still might play... I hope he can grind it out!

Cowboys can still win the East!

If this injury is not allowed to heal, the Cowboys could be jeopardizing their season.  Romo's importance to the Cowboys is  h u g e  They can't afford to lose him for the playoffs.  (insert Romo playoff jokes here  hihi) but seriously, without a healthy Romo, the Cowboys are fucked.

Jason Garrett might be able to throw the ball just as far as Brad Johnson.  That said, 1-2 over the next 4 weeks won't kill the Cowboys.  Playing Romo hurt like this is a bad idea.  That's just my 2 cents.  peace

Wow, one quarter in, 1 pick for Johnson.

He's a solid backup but D was really burning Romo.

I would rather have romo's 35 TDs/20 picks any day...

You have Witten, R. Williams, Barber, T.O.

You get 14 points.

If I was the QB we'd gotten more.

Pathetic

Always a pleasure seeing the 'Boys get embarresed.

Packers won and won well.

Too bad Hester's fumble was over-ruled on instant replay - would've been a huge play in that tight game.

So you think the Cowboys will go 2-1 against Tampa Bay/Giants/Redskins?

I don't think there's much evidence to back that opinion up with.

Looking at the rest of their schedule, I'm saying 9-7 and no playoffs.

lmao

okay, shows that you hate them

They lost close games to Wash @ home barely

then lost @ arizona in overtime via blocked punt..

then romo was out, so was felix and they get blowed away @ st. louis

this team can compete. they can win 12 games still.

playoffs... a definate.

You're extremely optimistic, Thorned Rose. For the Cowboys to win 12 games, they'd have to win 8 of their remaning 9 games. Romo is still hurt; Felix is still hurt; Adam Jones is still suspended; Roy Williams (not the WR) is out for the season; plus that defense still sucks. T.O. isn't happy; people are already talking about the possibility of Wade being fired . . . This team is collapsing, and I don't see a fix anywhere in the near future.

Next three weeks they play Tampa Bay, NY Giants, and the Redskins . . . I wouldn't be surprised if the Cowboys lose all three of those games.

Playoffs are definitely not a "definite."

Dallas need a complete overhaul

Get rid of the no discipline coach

PLEASE KILL Jason Garrett and his elementary offense.

Get rid of the shitty 3-4 defense.

Of course I hate the Cowboys, but that doesn't have anything to do with the reality that this team was clearly heading in the wrong direction BEFORE all of these injuries/suspension.

You are right. Mathematically, they can still win 12 games.

Like a previous poster said, it would be less-than-surprising if the Cowboys drop their next three games.   If they have Romo back for the Skins game, they might be able to get on track....  a little. But they'll be 5-5, or 4-6 by then.  Will it really matter?

With the NFC North and South both having teams that will likely be fighting it out til the end for the title, there will be no wild cards available for the lowly Cowboys at 9-7 (at best).

Yes. I hate the Cowboys.  And it feels good to see them fail.

According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, Mike Nolan is no longer the 49'ers head coach and Mike Singletary will be named head coach.

it aint that bad.  It's just what we already knew, he'll be back after the bye.  There never should have been speculation about an early return.  Jerry Jones doesn't always think things through...he never should have said Romo is able to play if he wants.  The way to do it is just say he's out, and if he comes back early, then it's a bonus.

Brady reportedly has additional procedures to fight infection
ESPN.com news services

Doctors are aggressively fighting an infection in Tom Brady's surgically repaired left knee, according to a report on the Boston Herald's Web site on Wednesday.

Brady recently acknowledged on his Web site that doctors went in "to clean and to test the wound" on Oct. 15 because of the infection. A source told the Herald that the New England Patriots quarterback has had two more similar procedures since then.

The same source told the newspaper that if the infection is not brought under control, the patellar tendon graft used to replace Brady's anterior cruciate ligament could become compromised. If that happens, he will have to undergo another surgery on the ACL. That would reset the clock on his rehabilitation.

Brady had surgery on Oct. 6, 29 days after he was injured in the Patriots' season opener, on a hit by Kansas City Chiefs safety Bernard Pollard. Brady reportedly tore the anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in the knee.

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.
